So what if they had to reshoot scenes, change the ending, and move its original release date from early September 2001 to June 14, 2002? Though many times substantial changes to a film or its release date can be the kiss of death, “The Bourne Identity” rises above it all to provide killer entertainment (I use the word ‘killer’ meaning great - I’m trying to get into the spirit of an action film).

Bruce Willis plays a broken down cop who’s ready for either rehab or retirement – or both – in “16 Blocks,” the latest police drama from Richard Donner, the director of the “Lethal Weapon” film series. Although the movie practically screams ‘been there done that,’ there are enough little twists to keep you amused and mostly entertained.

When detective Eric Matthews (Donnie Wahlberg) is called to a crime scene of a victim of Jigsaw (Tobin Bell), he finds a lead to the place where he is hidden. The first rumblings from Touchstone Pictures over “The Alamo” centered around how authentic their 2004 cinematic version would be. Historians were used as technical advisors, insuring the accuracy of the events portrayed on screen. Unfortunately, while the filmmakers were worrying about getting the history right, they forgot they were making a movie that needed to flow narratively and work as entertainment for the masses.

In Ruggsville, Texas, the police under the command of Sheriff John Quincy Wydell attack the house of the sadistic serial killers Firefly family (a.k.a.
