A group of teens including Cindy Campbell (Faris) and Brenda Meeks (Hall) are invited to spend a night in Hell House. Professor Oldman (Curry) has convinced them it for a school project, but the night won’t go past quietly. Tuck Pendleton is a cocky pilot, who is taking part in a miniaturization experiment. When some bad guys break into the lab to steal the technology, one of the scientists takes a syringe which contains the miniaturized Tuck and vessel. Now in the vessel is part of the material needed to restore him. But the other part which is the lab is stolen. The scientist’s shot but before dying he injects Tuck into Jack Putter, a hypochondriac, who feels that something is wrong with him all the time. When Tuck links himself to Jack’s systems, he discovers that something happened. So they go back to the lab, and discover what happened. Now they are told that unless they retrieve the material that was stolen they won’t be able to restore Tuck before his oxygen is depleted. Now the government rep decides that the only thing that matters that as long as they have the other half of the material, it is useless to the thieves. So Tuck eggs Jack to go out and find the thieves. They enlist the aid of Tuck’s old girlfriend, Lydia, who is a reporter. And it’s fortunate for them that she has a lead that pans out. The killer doll is back! The all-new film is the fifth in the popular series of Chucky (”Child’s Play”) horror comedies. I loved “The Matrix,” got lost and confused by “The Matrix Reloaded,” and waited with semi-bated breath for “The Matrix Revolutions.” What did I hope for? Anything that wasn’t “Reloaded” repeated. What did I expect? Another movie I’d have to analyze for hours – or weeks or months – afterwards. What did the Wachowski Bros. deliver? A disappointing end to what had started out as an original, groundbreaking series.

A sequel/remake of the film The Evil Dead. A young man named Ash takes his girlfriend Linda to a secluded cabin, and plays back a professor’s tape recorded recitation of passages from the Book of the Dead. The spell calls up an evil force from the woods which turns Linda into a monstrous Deadite, and threatens to do the same to Ash. When the professor’s daughter and her entourage show up at the cabin, the night turns into a non-stop, grotesquely comic battle with chainsaw and shotgun on one side, demon horde and flying eyeball on the other.
