The story begins with a regular Joe who tries desperately to seek employment, but embarks on a violent rampage when he teams up with cult leader Uncle Dave. Their first act is to heist an amusement park, only to learn that the Taliban are planning the same heist as well. The Bottom LineEvery bizarre action sequence you’ve ever imagined but never thought a Hollywood film would attempt has made it into writer/director Michael Davis‘ crazy, sexy, hysterical action film Shoot ‘Em Up. Clive Owen and Paul Giamatti square off in what turns out to be one of the best action movies of the year and one of the, surprisingly, funniest films of 2007.

The lead character, called ‘The Bride,’ was a member of the Deadly Viper Assassination Squad, lead by her lover ‘Bill.’ Upon realizing she was pregnant with Bill’s child, ‘The Bride’ decided to escape her life as a killer. She fled to Texas, met a young man, and on the day of their wedding was gunned down by an angry and jealous Bill (with the assistance of the Deadly Viper Assassination Squad). Four years later, ‘The Bride’ wakes from a coma, and discovers her baby is gone. She, then, decides to seek revenge upon the five people who destroyed her life and killed her baby.
