Jonathan Cold returns, this time he goes Undercover to stop a group of Terrorists before they bomb Los Angeles.

Nicolas Cage’s hair is the most memorable thing about Next, a sci-fi thriller directed with semi-verve by Lee Tamahori (Die Another Day, XXX: State of the Union). Tamahori knows action but that can’t save the irritatingly pointless Next from taking one disastrous misstep after another. Clever editing and an intriguing premise are wasted when on a film that’s loaded with plot holes and loopy logic, and filled with incredibly bad dialogue.

Two trains crash somewhere in Russia, one carrying a nuclear payload. A nuclear explosion follows the crash and the world is on alert… However, White House nuclear expert Dr. Julia Kelly (Nicole Kidman) doesn’t think it was an accident… Special Forces Intelligence Officer Colonel Thomas Devoe (George Clooney) doesn’t think so either… Together they must unravel a conspiracy that goes from Europe to New York, to stop a terrorist who has no demands… Written by M.
