Joe Young was a simple young man trying to spread the word of the Book of Mormon when he picked the wrong house to preach at! The owner, a porn director named Maxxx Orbison, tells his henchmen to kill the guy at the door who interrupted their scene, but Joe fights off the guards with great skill, which impresses Maxxx so much that he offers Joe the lead role in the movie he’s making at the moment: Orgazmo, which is about a sex superhero who fights crime with his Orgazmorator and ChodaBoy, his sidekick. Joe, against his beliefs, takes the job so that he can pay for the wedding he plans for he and his fiancee, who he doesn’t tell about his risque new acting job. Armed with the knowledge “Mean Girls” was scripted by Tina Fey, “Saturday Night Live’s” head writer and one half of the team that brought “SNL’s” Weekend Update skits back to life, I was really looking forward to a sharply written, tell-it-like-it-is, teen movie. And while parts of it were as good as I expected, it didn’t quite have the bite to it I associate with Fey’s writing style.

Audiences have sat through torturously bad sequels, remakes, and newly concocted drivel this year without a mass revolt. Studios are lucky ticket buyers haven’t organized and made a stand against $100 million-budgeted chunks of garbage. And now we have the third film of a gross-out comedy series competing for our hard-earned cash. Please pass the Tylenol.

Mitch, Frank and Beanie are disillusioned with their personal lives begining when Mitch’s nymphomanic girlfriend, Heidi, cheats on him, then former party animal Frank gets married, but unwilling to get go of his wild life, and Beanie is a family man seeking to reclaim his wild and crazy youth. Beanie suggests that they form their own fraternity in Mitch’s new house on a college campus to re-live their glory days by bringing together a variety of misfit college students, losers, middle-aged and elderly retirees as their new friends and later try to avoid being evicted by the new Dean of Students, Pritchard, whom still holds a personal grudge against all three of them.
