After another hard night at McCool’s, bartender Randy runs into Jewel. The seductive lady seems to have evaded a rape pretty closely, and when the man comes back, she puts a bullet in his head. After all these events (and others), Randy takes Jewel home, and the two become a couple. Yet Jewel begins to develop into a very demanding girlfriend and drives Randy into committing crimes for her and her elaborate lifestyle. Ricky is just out of a young offenders institute, heading home to Hackney and determined to go straight. Instead, he heads straight for trouble when he becomes involved in a street confrontation, siding with his best friend Wisdom against a local rude boy. The trouble escalates into a series of tit-for-tat incidents that threaten to spiral out of control. This movie is about Nancy Drew going to Los Angeles California with her father, who was going there on business. While she was there she happened upon a mystery that involved a murdered movie actress, and her daughter. Nancy found out her her daughter was, when nobody even knew that the actress had any kids, and the actress’s daughter inherited all of the actress’s money. At the end of the movie, once they got back home, Ned and Nancy kissed for what I think was their first actual kiss, and right after their quick kiss Nancy’s father told her that she had a call from some people in Scotland, who were talking about the Loch Ness Monster and some missing diamonds. People got infected by the monkeys, and the infected ones attacked the survivals. Jim decides to go home with the new friends and see what might have happened with his parents. Then, they are rescued by Frank and his daughter Hannah. They listen to a broadcast message from Manchester and they decide to go to the place guided by the broadcasting. An attorney (Ben Affleck) in a rush to make a court appointment to file legal papers involving a multi-million dollar trust accidentally collides with an alcoholic insurance salesman (Samuel Jackson), who also is a rush for a court appointment involving the custody of his children. The attorney leaves the scene of the accident and strands the salesman, causing him to miss his custody hearing. During the process of the post-crash discussion, the attorney accidentally drops the papers he needs to present in court. The judge gives him until the end of the day to present the papers and thus begins a cat and mouse game between the proponents. A few questionable actions later on both parties’ part, they finally start questioning their actions and their lives. In the end, both come to new understanding of what is important and appear to be set in new ethical and moral directions. Contains mild violence and profanity.
